MISSION:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical components and systems during the fabrication and construction phase of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.
TASKS:
Conduct inspections of mechanical components and systems during the fabrication phase to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Verify that materials, fabrication processes, and finished products meet quality standards.
Perform dimensional and visual inspections, as well as non-destructive testing (NDT) as required.
Ensure all mechanical fabrication activities comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Stay updated with relevant codes and standards, including ASME, API, and other applicable regulations.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure quality and compliance and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelorโs degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Certification as a Quality Inspector is highly desirable.
10+ years of experience in quality control and inspection within the Oil & Gas sector, specifically during the fabrication phase of EPC projects.
Extensive experience with inspection techniques and tools, including dimensional inspection, visual inspection, and non-destructive testing (NDT).
Fluent level of written and spoken English.
